This piece explores the physical and auditory energy of Nashville through a lens of graphic structuralism. Set against a vibrant ‘Electric Gold’ background, ‘Acoustic Blue’ sound waves pulse across the canvas, their heights meticulously mapped to outline a hidden, textured Nashville skyline. This tactile ‘reveal’ includes iconic landmarks like Geodis Park, The Roman and the AT&T Building, all resting atop a global map that illustrates our city’s place on the world stage. The composition is bookended by a striker and a goalkeeper, capturing the high-stakes ‘note’ of a match. This work suggests that the collective voices of the fans are the foundation upon which our city’s spirit is built, turning a local match into a global resonance that can be felt as much as it is seen. The artist reused brushes with which she painted supporter banners/tifos in the 2025 season.
