This piece is from my series The Healers honoring Nashville’s diverse medical community of Eastern and Western practitioners integrating non traditional modalities such as acupuncture, ayurveda, and herbal medicine with western medicine. Nashville’s healthcare is increasingly mirroring our global communities and helping to bridge cultural gaps and and build trust.
“Chi” represents Chinese acupuncture and herbal healers. In acupuncture, Chi (or Qi) is the vital life force or energy that flows through pathways in the body.
NOTE: The artwork will remain on display in the Soundwaves Gallery through the end of the 2026 Season.
