Description
Garden Patch reflects Bradley M.’s intricate inner worlds, shaped by imagination, resilience, and cultural heritage. Drawing inspiration from his Filipino roots, Bradley constructs dynamic landscapes filled with segmented forms, vivid color, and rhythmic linework reminiscent of stained-glass windows and gem-like surfaces. His compositions blend architecture, nature, and figures into powerful ecosystems, spaces where strength, peace, and emotion coexist. Bradley’s work speaks to the interconnectedness of people and place, echoing the exhibition’s theme of Global Voices, Local Heart. Grounded in heritage yet expansive in vision, his art celebrates how personal history and global culture inform one another, mirroring the way soccer connects communities worldwide through shared energy, movement, and spirit.
The artist is part of the visual arts program at Friends Life Community (FLC), an organization that provides opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities to grow, develop, and be active members of the community. Through FLC’s person-driven program, the artists are encouraged to explore their creativity and share their work with others.
