The Arts & Business Council of Greater Nashville, Blackbird Media, and F&M Bank have teamed up to present the Artist of the Week on The Nashville Sign. This week Richard Young is featured!
Richard says, “I have been interested in art since childhood when I began painting in oils. In the 1970s I began photography as a medium in 35mm. In the last several years I have expanded into digital photography, using it as a vehicle for artistic expression. I try to view different aspects of life in an expressive sense. I want my photography to capture the art in life all around us. It might be landscapes, wildlife, structures, or people. All are beautiful if viewed from the right perspective.”
