Description
The Nashville Nesting Bowl set is a hand-built set of porcelain plates that, once bisque-fired, were glazed using a watercolor technique to show the many neighborhoods of Nashville. Each bowl depicts a skyline of sorts for the many neighborhoods of our city– you can find the bungalows of West End, the ranch houses of Donelson, the skyscrapers of downtown, those iconic buildings the tourists flock here to see, and more! They are all painted delicately on the outside of the nesting bowls. This bowl set celebrates the many faces Nashville has and displays her architecture in a flowing and enchanting way. You’ll want to display these on a turntable because the “skyline” of each bowl goes all the way around and definitely tempts the viewer to unstack the bowls and give them a little spin to see all sides!
