Description
In this book published in 1963, I used an x-acto knife to cut the words, “The heart of the world will keep beating long after you and I are gone.” This work is about our place in the world, about our place in history, and a desire for a posture of stewardship toward the place where we live. It is a reminder of the relative brevity of human life as it relates to larger ecosystems that surround us (cities, societies, and the planet as a whole).
NOTE: The artwork will remain on display in the Soundwaves Gallery through the end of the 2025 Season. We will contact you at the conclusion of the season to make arrangements for local pickup of your purchase. If you have any questions, contact us at [email protected].
