The Arts & Business Council, Blackbird Media, and F&M Bank have teamed up to present the Artist of the Week on The Nashville Sign. This week’s featured artist is Justin Redmon!
Justin is a natural-born illustrator who began his artistic practice by making illustrations of vintage cars using pencil and brush. Today, his chosen medium is digital illustration which he believes challenges the boundaries of design through its flexibility in color and form.
Justin says his passion for design deepened through his 13 years traveling the world while serving in the US Navy.
In 2019, he founded Red Revolt Design with a focus on portraiture, commercial design, and personalized commissions. Last year, he launched a graphic design and illustration studio with his partner Jess called Apple & Anchor.
Some of Justin’s most recent projects include the illustration, painting and design for RestoMods, INDY CAR, Cannapages, and GOAT Fabrication.
