Erihii Nyamor Named Artist of the Week on The Nashville Sign

The Arts & Business Council, Blackbird Media, and F&M Bank have teamed up to present the Artist of the Week on The Nashville Sign. This week’s featured artist is Erihii Nyamor!

Erihii Nyamor is a professional illustrator. Primarily a digital artist, he also draws many of his pieces by hand, adding color and contrast with digital tools.

He is inspired by anime and comic book culture, and loves creating fan art and fun illustrations featuring his favorite characters. “I enjoy creating art that makes people happy.”

Erihii earned his degree in Illustration and Graphic design from Central Michigan State University. He has designed illustrations for children’s books, album covers, family portraits and more, including in the pages of his self-published children’s book I Can Draw, the story of a young man’s journey as an illustrator from Kindergarten to adulthood.

Erihii currently lives in Nashville, and has displayed his art at a multitude of area festivals including Tomato Art Fest, Sevier Park Fest, African Street Fest, and the Nashville Black Market. He also shows regularly at the Downtown Art Crawl. You can find his work available at the Nashville Farmers Market. He is currently working on commission pieces, as well as a new children’s book that will be published this year.
