NASHVILLE, Tenn. (February 21, 2017) – Each year, the Arts & Business Council of Greater Nashville celebrates a Nashville resident for their inspiring leadership and patronage of the arts with its Martha Rivers Ingram Arts Visionary Award. This year, the deserving honoree is Shirley Zeitlin, a long-time Nashville business leader and arts supporter.
Zeitlin’s friends, family and colleagues from her many business endeavors as well as her community and arts leadership activities will gather at Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony on Thursday, May 4, at 5:30 p.m. to honor her significant volunteer and community support work.
“We couldn’t be more pleased to honor Shirley Zeitlin with this prestigious award,” said Casey Summar, CEO of the Arts & Business Council. “As a leading patron of the arts – as well as a strong business leader – she is the perfect choice for this year’s Ingram Arts Visionary Award. The event will be a mix of fun, art, love and respect for Shirley.”
