Celebrating 10 years of creative entrepreneurship!
We hope you’ll join as the 10th class of Periscope in Nashville showcases their work, unveils their creative business plans to the public, and shares how you can support their entrepreneurial dreams.
The first hour is dedicated to the Artist Entrepreneur Showcase.
Periscope Pitch + Artist Entrepreneur Showcase highlights the business acumen, innovative spirit, and artistic prowess of local artists, makers, and entrepreneurs across an array of artistic disciplines. Those disciplines include sculpture, sustainable interior design, painting, fashion, illustration, collage, film and more, with business plans ranging from music festivals and art markets to glasswork supply retail, just to name a few.
The evening begins with an opportunity for guests to mix and mingle with the artists at their showcase booths, experience new art, hear inspiring music, watch compelling videos, and learn about this year’s talented group of 25 artist entrepreneurs. Then at 7 p.m. the Periscope Pitch begins!
Eight artist entrepreneurs will pitch their creative businesses live on stage.
Selected through two preliminary rounds over the summer, finalists pitch their creative businesses live on stage having earned the opportunity to share their vision with the Nashville arts and business community. They can also win cash and prizes to support their creative businesses.
Periscope Pitch + Artist Entrepreneur Showcase is the culmination of the Arts & Business Council’s Periscope: Artist Entrepreneur Training program. Registration is free.
