The Arts & Business Council of Greater Nashville is pleased to welcome Jaclyn Johnson Tidwell as the organization’s new Director of Operations & Strategic Initiatives.
Jackie has more than 15 years of nonprofit experience in organizational strategy, operations, and community engagement. She graduated from Belmont University with a Bachelor of Arts in theatre performance and political science and served as the Arts & Business Council’s Director of Programs for six years.
After moving to Chicago, Jackie worked as the Community Engagement Manager at Victory Gardens Theater while pursuing a graduate degree in Urban Planning & Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Since that time, her work has spanned arts and culture, neighborhood development, placemaking, municipal policy, and transportation planning in the Bay Area.
Jackie is now back in Nashville and serves as the board chair for Kindling Arts, a Nashville-based independent arts incubator. She enjoys making messy, creative projects with her two daughters in the backyard and traveling with her husband.
Jackie’s officially returned to the Arts & Business Council on December 12.
