We are pleased to welcome Courtney “CK” Stone as the Arts & Business Council’s new Director of Development!
CK (she/they) is an artist, attorney, and nonprofit arts administrator based in Nashville, TN. She writes and produces multi-disciplinary work that explores the intersections of craft and contemporary art, and leverages her legal and business background to advance the development of local arts organizations.
A graduate of the University of Chicago, CK obtained a B.A. in Art History in 2009, and earned her J.D. at Harvard Law School in 2014. After spending nearly a decade in the practice of corporate restructuring law, CK is excited to devote her advocacy and development skills to the growth and sustainability of the local arts community as the Director of Development with the Arts & Business Council of Greater Nashville.
CK serves on the boards of Kindling Arts and Tennessee Craft. In her free time, she enjoys painting, riding motorcycles, spending time in nature, and reading/writing/watching feminist horror.
