The Arts & Business Council, Blackbird Media, and F&M Bank have teamed up to present the Artist of the Week on The Nashville Sign. This week’s featured artist is Bethany Reed!
Bethany is a fashion and portrait photographer originally from Florida. After living in Los Angeles for 6 years, she uprooted everything and made the move to Nashville to focus on herself and her work.
She has expanded her portfolio to include video as well. She says that in all of her creative practice she favors creating in analog mediums, both still and moving, to bring a feeling of nostalgia in her projects.
“I love people and getting to the core of what drives them. I draw from intimate information about my subjects to create colorful, emotional and story driven bodies of work.”
