Project Management

We bring knowledge of Nashville’s creative community together with thoughtful project planning to help our partners find the right artists and create opportunities that are accessible, well-managed, and aligned with their goals.

Our team can manage calls for art, Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and other artist selection processes, providing support at every stage from project development and community outreach to submissions, review panels, artist selection, and implementation.

A better process for partners and artists

Successful creative projects start with a process that works for everyone involved. ABC helps partners navigate artist engagement while reducing barriers that can prevent talented artists, particularly emerging and early-career creatives, from accessing opportunities.

Each project is tailored to the partner’s goals, whether that means commissioning public art, developing a community initiative, creating an arts-based campaign, or finding new ways to incorporate local creativity into a space or experience. Along the way, we help establish clear expectations, reach a broad pool of artists, and create a thoughtful selection process that sets both the partner and participating artists up for success.

ABC x NSC Community Art Initiatives

Nashville Soccer Club

Through an ongoing partnership with Nashville Soccer Club, ABC creates opportunities for local artists to bring their work to GEODIS Park. Projects have included the annual Soundwaves Gallery exhibition, artist-designed Matchday posters, a stadium mural, and exterior artwork for the stadium’s parking garage.

Waste Less Mural Project

Urban Green Lab

ABC partnered with Urban Green Lab to manage the artist selection and implementation process for a Food is Community-themed mural at The Turnip Truck on Charlotte Avenue. Part of Urban Green Lab’s Waste Less Mural series, the project uses public art to engage the community around food waste and sustainability.

Women’s Health Week Call for Art

Tennessee Department of Health

ABC worked with the Tennessee Department of Health to develop and manage a statewide artist call for a Women’s Health Week awareness campaign. Tennessee artists were invited to explore themes including empowerment, self-care, prevention, and awareness, culminating in the selection of original artwork for the campaign.
