Building teams, culture, and innovation through creative experiences in the workplace.

Programs

Creative Advantage

Led by professional artists and experienced facilitators, each workshop invites employees to step outside their usual routines, engage with one another in a different way, and explore new approaches to communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and leadership.

Experiences can draw from improvisation, songwriting, visual art, storytelling, and other creative disciplines, with each workshop designed around the needs and goals of the participating organization. Whether you’re bringing together a new team, developing leaders, navigating change, or simply looking for a more meaningful way to connect, Creative Advantage offers an experience that is engaging in the moment and applicable long after it ends.

Workshops are available for individual teams and company-wide gatherings, with select opportunities also offering Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit for attorneys.

Bring Creative Advantage to your team

We’ll work with you to develop a creative experience tailored to your organization, your people, and what you want to accomplish.

Previous Creative Advantage Workshops

Southwest

More than 250 Southwest employees came together for a collaborative songwriting experience designed to strengthen communication and creative storytelling.

Guided by an acclaimed songwriter, employees transformed their ideas about Southwest’s values and culture into an original song, then performed it together to close their company-wide conference.

Pinnacle Financial Partners

To celebrate a company merger and connect teams across Tennessee, Pinnacle employees worked with a local glass artist to create individual mosaic designs.

The pieces were ultimately combined into a single artwork installed at Pinnacle’s Downtown Nashville headquarters, turning collaboration across branches into something employees could see and share.

Baker Donelson & Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP

Attorneys from two Nashville firms joined a local visual artist to transform a retired school bus into a functional public bicycle rack.

The collaborative service project gave participants an opportunity to practice creative problem-solving and communication while building relationships across firms and contributing something tangible to the community.

Heading

This is some text inside of a div block.

We had a group of individuals in one room, painting. All pieces were necessary. When the day was through and we laid them all out together, you could see how each single square came together. In life, you are not always able to understand what part you play in ‘The Big Picture’ [but] with a little teamwork and a lot of concentration, the end result will be well worth the wait.

ABC has been an important part of helping the Tennessee Fashion Council connect with Nashville’s broader creative community. Through their support and network, we’ve been able to bring together designers, students, entrepreneurs, artists, and industry professionals through events, educational programming, and community initiatives that highlight fashion as an important part of Nashville’s creative economy.

Lacie Thorne, Tennessee Fashion Council

ABC Nashville has been extremely useful for me as an independent artist! I wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford legitimate legal counsel from an entertainment lawyer, and the contracts coming in are too complicated for me to understand. I am so grateful that such a platform exists, and that it is so tight and organized and efficient

Taylor Tuke

ABC's expertise in the creative field helped shape the project’s concrete framework, ensuring thoughtful artist engagement and an equitable selection process. Overall, the collaboration was marked by innovation, expertise, and strong support—contributing greatly to the project’s success.

Urban Green Lab

Thank you so much for letting us participate in the Art project! We had the best time and have even talked to the [instructor] about coming to do a class for associates in Knoxville.

Periscope made me look at my business from a different perspective, and made my vision and message much clearer. It’s also been revitalizing and inspiring creatively to meet and work with such a highly motivated, dynamic and creative cohort.
