September 30 - October 4, 2026. International Black Film Festival (IBFF) is Tennessee’s only African American-established film festival. IBFF showcases independent films from around the world, elevates underserved voices, connects filmmakers with industry leaders, and offers workshops, panels, and networking opportunities. The festival fosters education, creativity, economic growth, and community engagement through diverse, family-friendly programming.

The 48th Annual Fall Tennessee Craft Fair 2026 is open for free to the public Oct. 9, 10, & 11, 2026, outdoors in the heart of Nashville at beautiful Centennial Park, adjacent to the iconic Parthenon. The show is ranked in the top 25 of premier craft art fairs in the country. Attracting approximately 45,000 visitors annually, an opportunity for artists to directly meet and engage patrons, collectors, and the public. This juried art show presents traditional and contemporary fine craft, handmade by ~200 individual artists.

Silence! The Musical is a raucous parody of The Silence of the Lambs. F.B.I. trainee Clarice Starling uses her relationship with Dr. Hannibal Lecter to hunt serial killer Buffalo Bill. The film is transformed into a full-scale musical, complete with singing serial killers & a chorus of tap-dancing lambs. October 9-24, 2026. 18+ only

Celebrate Nashville's rich and diverse arts and culture scene with America's ONLY Art and Craft Fair that celebrates the legacy trailblazing Black artist William Edmondson! Live music and other performances, a Kids Zone full of activities for all ages, and live artist demos. Free admission and parking.This annual event celebrates self-taught sculptor William Edmondson, the first African American to receive a solo exhibit at New York's Museum of Modern Art in 1937.

Mural Unveiling at Turnip Truck Natural Market’s Harvest Festival

A new mural coming to Turnip Truck Natural Market’s East location will celebrate the ways food brings us together and inspire our community to waste less of it. Nashville-based artist Acacia Barron has been selected to create the mural as part of Urban Green Lab’s Waste LessTM Mural Project, a partnership with the Arts + Business Council of Greater Nashville and Turnip Truck Natural Market. Join us for the mural unveiling at Turnip Truck's Harvest Festival on October 24th from 11am to 2pm.
