Rhythms

Description

Life is a rhythm. Even before we are born, we hear the rhythmic beating of our mother’s heartbeat. When babies need soothing, we rock them and pat their backs. When we need to find balance in our own bodies and minds, we walk, we dance, we breathe, we sing, we pet our dogs and cats. If we look beyond ourselves, we can see patterns and rhythms that exist in nature—from sound waves, to ocean waves, to seasonal cycles, to celestial orbits. I believe that rhythm is the language of the universe, which is why repeated patterns are a key ingredient in my work. When we tune in to the rhythms around us and in us, we can enjoy a richer and fuller existence.
