Description

Creating this painting, I was truly a fly on the wall. Sitting in a dimly lit bar, sketchbook at the ready, I sketched the scene as the band took a break. There was something in the way the single stage spotlight glanced off the drummer’s cymbal and came to rest on the wood grain of the guitar that was captivating.
