This piece is the second in a series of Noteworthy minis, aka Quarter Notes, that were created in tandem with Note To Self #1. Wiping excess off brushes and utensils as I went to make these companions, the point was to not be wasteful, while also translating the color scheme into more accessible pieces, whether that be in size or monetarily. Making the “babies” through this process to accompany larger pieces also serves as a reminder that little things add up to valuable output, so every effort and every step matters. Musically, it serves to remind that we all have our own individual “note to play”.
