Music City Soul

My landscapes are my visual idea of the heart and soul of this place, and the unique rhythm that is Music City, TN. Art, like music, connects all of us and whether or not we like a particular piece does not matter. Every reaction is valid for that viewer. What they find in the art, what that picture evokes in them, means that they have an emotional response to the piece. That is what makes the work successful in my view. “Music City Soul” is my take on the rhythm and flow of our city from the river that surrounds us to the melodies that inspire us.
