The Edgehill Brighter kids discovered a natural eye and feel for the camera by walking through their neighborhood with DaShawn Lewis & his artistic friends.  The youth were excited to learn photography with their own individual cameras in their hands. This was all brought full circle when they were able to see their work in their very own photo exhibit.

Edgehill Brighter Days

Edgehill Brighter Days is an after-school program, run by Nancy Crutcher, that offers one-on-one tutoring and educational activities for children (Grades K-6th) in the Edgehill neighborhood. The students meet each weekday, Monday through Thursday during the school year. During the summer Brighter Days offers social, educational, and cultural activities. The goal of the program is to help the children develop their potential, broaden their horizons, and expand their possibilities so that each child may experience a fuller and more productive future. Edgehill Brighter Days aims to establish positive relationships with the neighborhood children and their families.
