I paint while listening to music or watching movies. I’m a songwriter which is how I ended up in this town, so most of my paintings are inspired by a song or film. The watercolor allows me to make very fluid brush strokes allowing for a natural flow that makes the work feel like it came together in one swoop. Like writing a really good song, when it really works it seems like it was easy.
