This piece represents giving in to intuition and allowing creativity to flow. This painting style of melting crayons directly onto the canvas as I paint allows for the use of rich pigments in self-expression. The divisions in this painting resemble sulci, the grooves found in the brain. Sulci allow for the forming of new connections in the brain that allow for growth, learning, processing, and creativity. This piece reflects Nashville’s rhythm, ever evolving, constantly in motion and bursting with creativity.
